Wheelchair Life Ain't that Bad

  can't say I learned much more than this: LIFE IS BETTER TOGETHER. in other words don't be alone. Life in a wheelchair can feel lonely. You look around - you're the only taking an extra 2 minutes to get out of your car; the only one at the crowded Trader Joe's parking lot hurryingly taking out your wheelchair wheels so the amp veteran who's shaking his head at you stops judging thinking you are faking use of your grandma's handicap placard (no sir it's for me). You feel alone a lot. I know cuz that's happened to me. Every day a different detail. But here are a few words to let you know you aren't alone.  The stress The worry The judgement The pain I feel it too. So a quick note here to say: LIFE IS BETTER TOGETHER. even in suffering. so just know that cross you bear you don't bear it alone. I'm with you. Your friend, Leonardo
